The Transplant Centre has a fully equipped research laboratory, which has been open since 1997. In this time, we have published several articles in peer reviewed journals, and work has been presented at National and International meetings, such as the British Society for Immunology and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.

                                                         We currently have several students working in the laboratory. These consist of MSc, MD, PhD, BSc students from the University of Manchester, the Manchester Metropoletan University and the University of Salford.
